Binnen de realisatie van de Cordaroute krijgt de Heidestraat een dubbelrichtingsfietspad. Het fietspad zal vlot aansluiten op het nieuwe fietspad langs de Handelskaai. Je fietst er in de toekomst dus een stuk comfortabeler.
